So my POV has been that Shopify’s plan is to add a marketplace offering of some sort to their capabilities. They’ve been building the pieces for it with the Shop mobile app, Shop Pay, and now a Search site not limited to mobile. Sure it’s rudimentary…but it’s a another piece of the marketplace pie.
